Join Sara Hess and I for a luxurious weekend of Yoga, mindfulness, and play in a spectacular locale, only 2.5 hours north of San Francisco.
This one of a kind sanctuary at the intersection of the Pacific Coast and Mendocino’s Anderson Valley is a response to the suggestion that our purpose in life is to create connection. A training ground that fosters the much needed elements of empathy, connection, and attention, The Land is the door to your turned on life.
Set on 162 acres in Northern California, with exquisite detail to both natural and designed elements, creeks to swimming holes, eco-conscious building practices to organic food, restoration of the local river, a thriving full-acre garden and practitioner ethos. The Land has 8 multi-unit houses and 16 restored wood cabins with all of the amenities needed for connection, consciousness and flow.
Your senses rest in the beautifully appointed simple detail surrounding your stay. Many courses taught by world class facilitators that include meditative deep dives, sitting on the cushion, or walking in the natural contemplative paths. The body soaks it all in with daily yoga, purifying bodywork, and a dip in our pools.
Keeping in mind that fulfillment is a way of life, and at the root of that way of life is a sense of connecting, The Land is designed to be more a co-creative experience than a resort — It is a lifestyle that emerges when you practice a set of principles that allow for intimacy with your life. From the most physical expression to the most spiritual – it is the fundamental discovery that what you are intimate with, you experience as divine. Including yourself.
